Leave your Gear at the mountain!

One of our guests favorite amenities is our ski locker and change facilities located in the Vail Village, close to Gondola One. This area is where you will likely begin your ski day. 

You may choose to gear up and schlep your skis to the shuttle every morning, or simply walk to the shuttle in your comfy shoes and gear up mountain-side. The locker can hold 4 pairs of skis, boots, and clothing. There are boot dryers so you’re dry and ready to go every morning, and charging outlets for any accessories. 

Restrooms are available as well as hot beverages. A code will be provided to allow you secure access to this private area.

We suggest you drop off your ski gear the night of arrival.*

 

   If dropping gear off in advance, 

  • drive to the Vail Village Parking Structure- located under  the Vail Transportation Center (241 E Meadow Dr ). 

  • Take your equipment and exit the parking structure heading to the covered Bridge ( Towards the mountain-ask anyone- everyone knows this landmark).

  • Parking in the structure is free for the first hour(and from 3pm to 4am) so this is more than enough time to unload. At this point you are minutes from the locker. 

  • A short walk through the covered bridge and you will be there. It’s in the lower level of the first building to the left and you will see an entrance to “Bridge Street Lockers”. 

  • Your access code will be sent to you with all the other check-in information

 This is our preferred method of storing equipment. So much easier than lugging everything to the base daily.

Insider tip : If a few hundred feet is still too much schlepping, consider leaving your skis at Vista Bahn, mere feet from the lift. If you rent skis from them, ski storage is free. If you have your own skis it’s $10/day.

*Equipment can be stored in our locker anytime after 4pm on day of arrival and must be removed by 10am, the morning of departure. This is a Private facility. All belongings must be stored in the locker at all times . Anything left outside of the locker will be removed by management and there is a $20 charge from Bridge Street management to retrieve it. They are strict, but you will appreciate the cleanliness of the facility.
